Day 1: Arrive Srinagar
You will arrive in Srinagar in the early afternoon. Upon
your arrival, you will be met by our representative who will
escort you to the beautiful city and transfer you to your
houseboat. The day will be spent in complete relaxation, where
you will experience the difference of staying in these
luxurious houseboats.
Day 2: In Srinagar:
Breakfast at the boat.
A day of explorations and experiences, we start from our
houseboats and paddle across the lake in small boats to the
other side of the lake. From here we will board the cars and
drive to the famous Mughal gardens of Kashmir. The day
sightseeing includes a visit to the Nishat Garden, known for
its well laid flower gardens, fountains, water channels and
huge Chinar trees. Built in the 16th century, the garden
overlooks the Dal Lake and has a dramatic backdrop of the
mountain ranges behind it. We later drive to visit yet another
garden known as Shalimar. The garden is smaller then Nishat,
but nonetheless is very beautiful with huge stone pavilions set
amidst water pools and lush green trees swaying to and fro in
the light breeze. After spending the afternoon here, we drive
back to our houseboats. Later in the evening we will take a
short boating ride in the backwaters of the lake, visiting some
boat communities and steeping on the little floating gardens.

Day 3: Srinagar to Sonamarg:

We drive today to explore a beautiful secluded mountain
resort 87 km north of the valley. Driving through stony river
beds and mud villages with a mesmerizing backdrop of the
Himalayan range, the route takes us to the green valley of
Sonamarg literally known as the golden meadow. We will arrive
in the afternoon and after lunch go horse riding to the only
famous glacier found here. The valley has a beautiful contrast
of naked mountains, green fields and snow white glacier with
water trickling beneath it. We will stay in the camp.
Day 4: In Mammar:
Breakfast at the camp.
We will today drive to the best fishing spot located down
the valley near Mammar. We will spend the day there, trying our
luck for some fishing in the Sindh river. Lunch will be served
at river bank, after which we will continue on our sport. Later
we will return back to our camp.
Day 5: Sonamarg to Srinagar:

After breakfast and a little walk in the valley, we will drive back to Srinagar. We will arrive in the city at afternoon and transfer to our luxurious houseboat. The late evening will be spent at the upper deck with the special locally brewed tea served in between.
Day 6: Srinagar to Achabal and Pahalgam:

After we have a leisurely breakfast, we will drive to visit the famous Mughal gardens of Kashmir. Located at a distance of 58 kilometers from the city, the gardens were designed by Empress Nur Jehan and completed by princess Jehanara, daughter to Emperor Shah jehan in 1640. the garden is built in a row of three terraces, with water channels and three small stone pavilions, shaded beautifully by large trees. After spending some time here, we will continue our drive to the scenic mountain resort of Pahalgam. Upon arrival, we will check in to the hotel. The day will be at your leisure for short walks and explorations in the charming valley.
Day 7: In Pahalgam:
Breakfast at the hotel.
We will today drive to some various best fishing spots located in the upper reaches of the valley. We will spend the day there, trying to fish at some of the best angling beats in the Lidder River. Lunch will be served at the river bank, after which we will continue on our sport. Later we will return back to our hotel.
Day 8: Pahalgam to Srinagar: (97 km / 3/4 hrs)

We will drive and retrace our route, visiting en-route a famous 11th century ruined temple and drive past the world famous saffron fields. We will arrive and transfer to the houseboat. In the evening you can go on a boat ride or on a shopping spree in one of the many colorful bazaars.
Day 9: Srinagar to Verinag:
(Full day trip / 160 km return):

We will leave a bit early, then our usual sightseeing time, and drive to a beautiful spring located in the south of the valley. En-route we will drive through different villages and experience the village life as we drive past on the national highway towards the Verinag spring. Close to the foot of the Pir Panjal range, the spring is said to be the very source of River Jehlum that runs down the valley and joins other rivers before exiting out to Pakistan. The spring has an octagonal wall built by Emperor Jehangir in 1612 AD. Reputedly said to be 15 meters deep, legends say that it has never dried up since it was discovered in the ancient times. We will stay at the spring and explore the small hamlets before driving back to Srinagar in the evening.
Day 10: In Srinagar Wildlife park tour:

The morning will be spent in complete leisure. In the
afternoon you will go on a sightseeing tour of the old city
before driving to the lovely natural park of Dachigam.
Originally said to be a hunting reserve for the erstwhile Dogra
kingdom, the reserve is now home to hundreds of birds, wild
animals, trout fish and rare plants. We will drive inside the
park for a few kilometers and visit the fish hatchery, where we
will be shown around. In the late afternoon we will drive back
to the city, visiting en-route the garden at Harwan located
just outside the wildlife park.
Day 11: Srinagar Depart

After breakfast, you will paddle across the lake and board the car that will transfer you to the airport for your flight to any onward destination.
