Why should I travel in India with Experience India?

What about the grade of tours?
All our trips are graded to suit you and help you in making a right choice of traveling. We have treks over the Himalayas, overland adventures and grand cultural tours in the Indian plains, and they are all graded accordingly.On all our tours that are listed here, we have put the specific grades as per the altitude of the place and traveling days. For our adventures, we take every precaution and monitor your daily condition. All our programs are built on a leisure basis so that you have no pressurized holidays with us.
Can I add on a trip after the tour is finished?
Yes we arrange other customized tours based upon the choice of our travelers who want to spend some more days in this wonderful country.
How do we travel in India?
Generally we use deluxe air conditioned buses and sedans on the plains and jeeps for rougher and tougher terrains. Our travel mode also includes trains and we usually make our guests travel on first or second class air-conditioned compartments – and in certain short train journeys we use chair cars as well. Your travel also includes domestic flights as noted in the itineraries.
What about the food?
We spare no effort in making our adventure tours as comfortable as possible. Food plays an important part of this, and we generally provide you with an extensive menu of well-balanced and nutritious cuisines. The choice and quality of the food is usually wonderful. Whether we are eating in a hotel or a local place we will always provide you with freshly cooked dishes.
What kind of accommodation do you provide?
We use different types of accommodation as per the regional availability. On our cultural tours we always give a choice of staying in heritage, deluxe or budget hotels. Our deluxe accommodations include five star properties that are usually done in heritage palaces or modern hotels. Our budget hotels are usually rated in between 2 star deluxe to 4 star hotels, yet are always comfortable with attached baths. On our adventure tours we provide 4 season trekking tents which are quite reliable in all weather conditions. Our adventure treks include all the paraphernalia of cooks, helpers, mess tents, toilets and sitting equipment.
How tough is an adventure trek?
All our adventure treks and overland journeys are based on the regional and altitude conditions. Here we provide you an insight of the trek or adventure you wish to do with us.
||Minimum days of walking are in between 5 to 6 hrs and these are graded as moderate.
||Minimum days of walking are 7 to 8 hrs and are graded as moderate to strenuous.
||Minimum days of walking are 7 to 8 hrs but are of almost continuous ascents and climbing.

||These safaris are usually long and take 9 to 10 hrs but are always moderated.
How can I book a tour to India?
After you decide your traveling dates as per our various tour programs, you can send us your details via email or fax and our staff will contact you in order to complete the process and advise you on the exact terms and details of your payment. Generally we require an advance of 35% of the total tour cost as a deposit to be paid 6 weeks before the tour commences and the remainder to be paid 4 weeks prior to the start of the tour. For cancellations received in writing by us 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour no cancellation charges will be levied. However, cancellations received less then 30 days prior to the trip commencement the deposit will not be refunded. Experience India

What if I do not like any of your tours posted on the web-site?
If you do not like the mentioned tour programs, we suggest you to send us an email, giving your requirements like the date of travel, which category of hotels you are looking for to suit your budget, how many members are supposed to travel along with you, the name of cities or destinations like North India or South India etc. As soon as we have these details from your end, we will design a tour especially for you and get back immediately. These details serve as an outline for our travel experts, who are working here round-the-clock to make a tailor-made tour for you.
Can you provide me with a list of the hotels we will be staying at?
Starting and ending hotels are listed on your travel voucher and in the detailed trip dossier. We use a variety of hotels en-route and so a complete list of hotels won't be provided until day 1 of your tour.
Can you help arrange my travel visas?
Requirements for travel visas vary widely depending on your nationality. Although we are unable to arrange visas on your behalf we would request you to get in touch with the nearest Indian embassy / commission who will appraise you with the other formalities required.
Do you include travel insurance?
We advise you to arrange travel insurance in your own country.
