A region of outstanding natural beauty, Uttaranchal is a
magical land known for its splendor and landscape. Blessed
with magnificent glaciers, radiant and joyful rivers,
gigantic Himalayan peaks, natural biospheres, valley of
flowers, skiing slopes and dense forests, the region is
renowned for its wildlife reserve of Corbett, the pristine
lakes of Nainital, and famous Ayurvedic centers of
Rishikesh. Equally famous are its charming hill stations of
Mussoorie, Almora and Ranikhet amongst others. Home to the
Sacred Ganges, the small state comprises of two regions,
the western half known as Garhwal and the eastern region
going by the name of Kumaon, and is a land great history,
culture, language and traditions. A land that needs to be
explored and experienced again and again.
